Anti-Everything but The Forge for the DED (Exclusive VRSTY Interview Coming Soon!)

DED comes to The Forge for their Anti-Everything Headliner Tour with The Fiction We Create, VRSTY, and Dropout Kings! First off what an epic lineup and an epic surprise for you guys because I got to interview Joey from VRSTY! I am so excited to talk more about what we discussed and some things that are coming up in the future. I will update this article as soon as it's done! In the meantime enjoy these shots and what I witnessed on this BADASS show!

Alrighty lets start off with local band The Fiction We Create because they created some hard hitting songs! They had such high energy and heavy screams during their performance. They kind of remind me of Motionless in White. I can definitely see them taking off and meeting them was just wonderful. They were greeting everyone with open arms and love!

Now for VRSTY! I think I went through so many emotions because I was in awe of their performance. Now I listened to just a small bit on the way to the venue but live is a whole new perspective. Joey's voice is so whimsical along with the heaviness of the guitar and Colt's scream. It works so well! You will find out in the interview how Joey was very influenced by Michael Jackson and how he memorized his mannerisms to the tea. I see that so clearly during the set and it's so different from what I'm used to. Sadly no moonwalk but don't worry I am working on it. The whole band works so well together to keep you in tone with their music and start dancing along with them. I am guilty of it! I will talk more about my interview experience in a different paragraph once I publish it! So keep an eye out! Dropout Kings dropped some major heat! So the first song I've ever heard from them was Scratch & Claw but they, sadly, didn't perform it in this set. BUT I still loved their new stuff and can't believe I haven't kept up with them! So much jumping and dancing I was loving it! They were getting the crowd riled up and from my photos you can see how much fun they were having!

Last but not least DED! They instantly gave me Slaughter to Prevail vibes but with clouded contacts in their eyes which was so bad ass! The singer had such a strong voice and scream it was so cool. They seem like a fun bunch and I wish I was able to talk to them. Now I'm not sure if they have any new music coming out or why they decided to tour but I really hope they come back. I loved every set and I can tell how passionate and caring they are for their fans. Each offered such a unique way of telling their story and the style of music they perform. I have discovered a new array of music to add to my daily listening.
