Knox's Midwest Best at House of Blues

We welcome Knox and Southcourt to the iconic House of Blues in Chicago. Can't get more midwestern than that! We all know and love this lil boy from Ohio, who grew in fame around 2022. Ever since then he has gone viral and loved by everyone across the globe! I've known about Knox since his collaboration with Bilmuri. They've done a few songs together (the best Ohio boys) and I loved how they sounded together and wanted to check out more of Knox's music. He definitely has a bit of pop but also alternative rock, which made it more unique. I also can't think of a better opener than Southcourt from Nashville. So let's dive into this show!

Southcourt opened with a bang! I'm not sure what exactly their setlist was but they sure made an impression. Much of the audience danced and joined in on their excitement which made me join in too! They had a very similar vibe to Knox but less heavy on the rock aspect. Still I enjoyed their set very much and how sweet they were with everyone. I wish I could've gotten to meet them but hopefully one day they will come back!

Now it's time for the main event KNOX! First off, he sounds exactly as he does in his streamed music. Almost to the tea! So hearing him live definitely took me by surprise and just made it that much magical. I felt a lot of love in the air with the audience. I mostly do metal shows and it's always very intense and at some points stressful. But this was different. He was even surprised on how respectful everyone was and I have to agree. You can just tell how down to earth everyone was for him and they genuinely enjoyed his music. I don't think I saw anyone that wasn't singing along. Knox was very grateful to where he is today and vowed to continue making music as long as his fans continue to support him. He thanked everyone with all his heart and gave TWO encore songs, "Not the 1975" and "Pick Your Poison". Both of my favs! Ugh I am just in love with these photos and had such a fun time taking them. I hope you can catch him before this tour ends!
