Tash Sultana shakes up The Salt Shed

On June 20, 2026, Tash Sultana took the stage at The Salt Shed (indoors) in Chicago, IL. This was their final stop of the U.S. / N.A. tour. Tash is a multi-instrumentalist who knows how to play over 20 instruments - some of which were showcased in [tonight's] show. Known for their psychedelic soulful-rock sound, Tash set up each and every song as a one person artist, soon followed by the rest of the band to fill in the rest of the melody.

Tash Sultana really is one of those once-in-a-lifetime artists. Their sound is something that is best described as a sound that hits the core of your soul. One minute you're listening to the most relaxing, ethereal melody and singing, and the next you are being carried by this hypnotizing soulful-bluesy-rock like guitar solo.. or they might even pull out a mandolin / mandolin-esque solo.

What there is to know: Tash's energy is unmatched and the vibe is like no other. Whether you're going to jump around, or you just want to be one with the music, both are possible with each song. You won't leave the show without feeling like a changed individual. Being there live - seeing it all in real time - leaves you feeling entranced.. almost paralyzed by awe. Tash is more than just an incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist; Tash is an entertainer through and through.

At every job, there is that one person who just so happens to be better than everyone - who just seems to outperform everyone.. run circles around everyone. That is who Tash is. They are an overachiever, with an enormous amount of talent, and the will to do so many great things.

Tash is literally out of this world - actually extraordinary. I cannot wait to see what they have planned for the future, and I know it is only a matter of time before they land in some sort of hall of fame.

Keep doing magical things, Tash! Can't wait to see you again.
