About Stage Riot Media

Stage Riot Media is a Chicago-based online publication born from a passion for live music and the stories it inspires. Co-founded by Editor-in-Chief Miguel Peralta and Jaqueline Campos, our mission is to capture and share the electric energy of concerts—from intimate local showcases to world-renowned festival stages. We believe every note, every moment, and every face in the crowd tells a part of the story, and our mix of immersive photography and narrative journalism brings those stories to life.

What We Do

Concert Photography & Reviews
Our team captures raw, unfiltered moments—the sweat on a performer’s brow, the roar of the crowd, the fleeting expressions that define live music. We publish dynamic photo galleries alongside engaging, human-centered reviews—whether it’s a headline set at House of Blues Chicago or an emerging artist on a DIY stage.

Festival Coverage
From Riot Fest to Lollapalooza and Summer of Loud, we’re on the ground documenting the full spectrum of festival life. Our goal is to spotlight emerging talent while celebrating established acts, giving fans and industry alike a front-row perspective.

Artist Profiles & Features
Beyond the stage, we delve into the creative forces shaping today’s music scene. Our features highlight the journeys of emerging artists, explore current visual and sonic trends, and offer insider views on what it takes to make it in the industry.
