Welcome to the Windy City Jeremy Zucker!

Welcome to the Windy City Jeremy Zucker!

New Jersey born Jeremy Zucker comes to the midwest at House of Blues Chicago! as a fellow New Jerseyan I absolutely fell in love with this tour and how he expressed the beauty that is the Garden State. Jeremy was joined by the lovely Bebe Stockwell, who made such an impression on me. Folk music is a very underrated genre as it tends to be a bit hard to swallow and only shown in a certain style. However, Bebe has changed the game and incorporated it to her own unique style. I was in awe of the performance and even had the honor of speaking to her about her career, I can't recommend her enough!

Jeremy Zucker was a wonder on stage! He sang just as beautifully live as he does online! He definitely had a hidden love for Chicago, he was very interactive with the crowd and expressed his overwhelming love for the city. Can't say I don't agree :) His opening song introduced a calm inspirational narration about his home as well as a front porch background. Ironically enough his first full song was "hometown", "i don't know you", "18", and (my personal favorite) "all the kids are depressed". While Jeremy's music is depicted towards a more sad tone, his intentions are to help those who are feeling this way so they don't feel alone or can't get to a better place. Mental health is definitely important to him and his music is a way for him to express that and relate to his audience. It's one of the many things I admire about him and how I got through some hard times. If you ever feel overburdened by sadness, just know you are never alone and there are resources you can go to seek the help you need.

'Cause all the kids are depressed
Nothing ever makes sense
I'm not feeling alright
Staying up 'til sunrise

And hoping shit is okay
Pretending we know things
I don't know what happened
My natural reaction is that we're scared
