Thrice Brought Big things to Chicago
Thrice's 2025 Fall tour finally hit Chicago after almost 3 years since their last show in town.

On a cold Chicago night, The House of blues was the center of attention, We had our first snow fall of the year. But that did not stop the crowd from coming out in waves.
Thrice Brought the talented Downward and Modern color. Bands that have solidified themselves the scene. Band's Like Thrice have been around for years, But have aged like fine wine.

Last night’s Thrice performance felt like something special — a reminder of why their live shows continue to captivate after more than two decades. The band sounded sharper than ever, radiating genuine energy and joy on stage. While the crowd’s biggest cheers still came for staples from The Artist in the Ambulance, Vheissu, and The Illusion of Safety, there was a warm appreciation for their newer material as well.
The setlist felt curated straight from a fan’s dream — pulling favorites across their vast catalog, yet still managing to surprise. In an era where setlists are a click away, that rare sense of unpredictability made the night feel even more intimate. Teppei's harmonies were flawless, adding texture and emotion that elevated each song.
For the first time, the band left out “Silhouette,” a live regular for years, giving room for deeper cuts to breathe. Even without classics like “Deadbolt,” the show proved that Thrice’s evolution continues to pay off. The audience leaned older — a loyal generation that’s grown alongside the band — and while it’d be great to see younger fans fill larger venues, there’s something irreplaceable about witnessing Thrice in these smaller, electric rooms where their sound hits closest to the heart.

Nights like this remind you why Thrice’s music still resonates after all these years. It isn’t just nostalgia; it’s connection, honesty, and evolution wrapped into one unforgettable performance.
