The Silence Follows ERRA into House of Blues!
House of Blues in Chicago had the honor of welcoming ERRA and Currents in their new co-headline tour, who were joined by Aviana and Caskets. All bands were so electric and went full hardcore on every song they performed. I know all four bands but have not seen them live, except for ERRA and Currents. I cannot think of a perfect pairing for this tour, especially since they all have sick ass setups. Each used their setups to the max as it made the atmosphere feel even heavier and visually jaw dropping. They embodied the use of modern technology with monitor panels showing different videos of heavy textures that warm the audience up for what's to come.
Currents performed with absolute bangers and crowd surfers all around. I know their heavy music would get the audience going but not to the point where I witnessed the most amount of crowd surfers I have ever seen. Honestly I can understand why, it almost got me joining them but, sadly, I didn't want to risk my rather expensive set up. Overall, it was so fun seeing them again and still having a huge impact on the metal music game, you can't deny how badass they are.

ERRA was such an iconic experience for me. I have been a huge fan since I last saw them with Wage War back in Jersey of 2024. Besides the setup, their music has gotten much heavier and passionate that I am here for! They, of course, performed their classics like "Snowblood" that I can never get enough of. Chicago definitely had the time of their lives! ERRA had engaged with the crowd a lot more and resulted in many crowd surfers as well. Many people wanted to be a part of this moment and brought the house down (sorry dad joke). I am so happy I was able to photograph them this time instead of admiring from the crowd. I really hope I get the chance to be able to do this again, their music is such a vibe and always have me head-banging!
