The House of Don Broco
Don Broco takes on Chicago at the House of Blues with special guests Sace6 and Capstan.
Kicking off the night was East Coast band Sace6, This was not my first time hearing them as they have come across in my playlist multiple times. I enjoy the variance in Heavy screams to Soft lyrical tones.
I wasn't just impressed by their lyrics, the stage presence was unmatched. From the both singers taking turns playing guitar to singing, jumping and making the crowd jump, this was definitely a great way to start the night.

Next on the bill was Capstan, The band i saw the most merch on every person in the venue, Prior to the show i had only listen to a few of their songs and i was really excited to finally hear those songs live.

Following the Sace6, They did not let up on the energy. Straight off the rip Capstan brought a genre everyone loved, Pop Punk blend with screaming vocals to Soft melodies. Id say they are one of my favorites now since they gave us the photographers moments to work with. I can now see why the House of Blues was in favor of Capstan.

Finally, The time has come, For the one and only, AL the way from Australia, Don Broco.
It felt like fans came out of the rafters. The House of Blues, felt packed. As the lights dimmed, you can feel the anticipation of the crowd grow. After a moment of pure silence, The intro kicked in with each of the band members coming out on stage one by one. Until Boom Robi, the singer came out to roars of the crowd.
Straight from the beginning, He came out to cheers and what felt like he was performing to a bigger room than what house of blues could hold.
During Cellophane, He jumped into the crowd and had the fans sing along, From giving the mic to a fan to his singing and interactions. It made the show feel more personable. Don Broco is definitely popular in the US, From being featured in some of the summers biggest festivals.
In one of the songs, He made one request, at the drop of the next song, everyone to jump. You could feel the whole place shake, i've attended so many shows at the house of blues i never felt it shake like that before.
Don Broco, will definitely return to Chicago, He is one of the act that you can tell is not performing at the right sized venue. He has big room energy and can pull crowds. I cannot wait until he comes back! i came as a viewer but left as a fan.
