The ever-so-stunning Sabrina Claudio wins over Chicago

Concert Reviews Mar 23, 2026

On Thursday 19, 2026, Sabrina Claudio brought the heat with her to Chicago (House of Blues). While it wasn't quite mid-spring/summer hot, it was a beautiful day for what Chicago had been the previous few days. There was something about the way she walked out in her cream-colored dress and the sound of her voice that could make you melt. However, from the moment she stepped out, she was incredibly sad and apologetic. With a box of coconut water in hand, she apologized to the crowd, pleading with them to forgive her if she could not perform her best, as she was just coming out of having the flu. After her first song, she asked the crowd if it would be okay to take a seat for the rest of the performance - to ensure that she was able to get through it all. Honestly, sick or seated, I was unable to hear her struggling to perform, but maybe that's just a testament to how great of an artist Sabrina is.

It was great to see so many friendly, smiling faces. Everyone was dressed to a t. And, the house was so crowded that it was nearly impossible to squeeze through to get anywhere. With that all said, nothing else mattered but the vibes that were going on in that room. The room was filled with this ethereal voice that just seemed to touch your heart and soul - filling it with love and grace. Sabrina's voice was like a tranquil garden in the middle of a giant city. It's easy to close your eyes and just let yourself get lost to the sweet sound that is her voice... like the wind swaying the leaves of a tree.. or some calm waves lightly crashing against the shores of a sunny beach.

Regardless of how Sabrina was feeling, she was definitely nothing short of spectacular, and I am sure that everyone else in that room felt the same. Nonetheless, I hope she feels better soon. If this was her not performing at 100%, I cannot wait to see her again once she feels on top of her game. It felt like everyone in that room still had a blast.. but can I also mention how good that ending was!! Although I am a sucker for a soft voice and heartfelt lyrics, I have to give credit to that guitar solo ending!

She should be on the last legs of her US tour, which are all east coast cities. Without a doubt, if you are on the fence about going, I would say that it is well worth seeing Sabrina live.
