The Diary of Breaking Benjamin Unplugged

Breaking Benajmin Unplugged hit the mark of acoustic music featuring Ben Burnley and special guests Josh Sturm and Lacey Sturm. While they are widely known for their iconic heavy metal genre, the lead singer, Benjamin, wanted to take a new approach. He stated he was getting “old as shit” and couldn’t do heavy screaming as much as he did before. He wanted a more “chill” vibe that still embraced their nostalgia so fans could still sing along.

Before each song, the band talked about fun little facts about how and when the songs were written. It gave a special look inside the bands artistry. Fans felt a true connection getting to know more on this beloved band.

The crowd was definitely familiar with them as every song was sung loud and proud. As a fan myself, I found myself singing along and in awe of how amazing they sounded live. They displayed a funny, quirky personality and interacted with the crowd as much as possible.

Breaking Benjamin performed some of their greatest hits such as “Dear Agony”, “Diary of Jane”, and “Give Me a Sign”.

While they didn’t have much movement on stage, they surely moved our hearts.
