SET IT OFF - Set off Chicago for a night that will not be forgotten

SET IT OFF Brought their nation wide "self titled" Tour, celebrating their new release of the latest album of the same name "Self titled"

With amazing support of Fame On Fire, Vana, and Taken By Tide.

With such a stacked line up, i knew Chicago was in for a memorable night.

Set it off brought a mix of Metalcore to rap. A mix that on paper would seem not to work but in practice Lead singer Cody Carson makes it sound effortless.

The Guys sure now how to put on a show, right from the start they did not let off the gas. The stage had props, risers and various platforms. They were all utilized to give Chicago not just a show but an experience. During one of their songs, the guys brought out Vana to collaborate on a song. Vana's vocals are angelic with a hint of aggression. Yes, i know how that sounds but trust me, i was as shocked to hear how amazing she sounded.

Other than Vana Joining in the set, Chicago was also in for another surprise.

Set it off was in celebration of their up and coming album releasing later that week. Lucky enough not just to hear a few of the new songs, but the album was being sold at the merch table for early release! When this was announced you could hear the roars of the crowd as this is a very anticipated album.

Overall, This was such a fun concert. All of the supporting acts brought all their energy in Chicago. They all gave it their all and it was sure felt. From Taken By Tides urging the Pit to move more and more through their set. to Vana taking our breaths with her showmanship and vocal. Set it off of course stole the show with never-ending energy, with interacting with the photographers to interacting with the crowd. Chicago had a night we will not forget, Thank you Set it off and team for giving us the chance to hear new songs to the ability to buy the album early! Please come back soon. Chicago will be waiting.
