PALEFACE SWISS- THE CURSED TOUR COMES TO CHICAGO

Paleface Swiss brought their “Cursed” tour, Named after their latest release of the same name to Chicago.
The tour kicked off in Detroit Michigan and ended here in Chicago. It spanned all over the US with each date selling out almost instantly.
Weeks before the show, Zelli, the lead singer, promised an incredible send-off for their biggest tour to date on Instagram. A little spoiler he kept his promise.
The show took place at Thalia Hall, a mid-size venue that combines modern and historical elements. It features a large general admission floor and balcony seating options, allowing attendees to choose between being in the crowd or seated in an area with clear views of the performance.
PaleFace was accompanied by NASTY and Stick to Your Guns, both of whom are well-established headliners. NASTY, hailing from Belgium, commenced the event with powerful music that demonstrated their value on the tour. Stick to Your Guns maintained high energy levels, engaging the audience with circle pits and crowd surfing. The performance was outstanding, and the audience remained enthusiastic throughout.

Finally, the event featured Paleface Swiss. The stage was illuminated in red, setting an energetic tone with the performance of "Hatred". From the first track, they were delivering a strong performance for the final show of the tour. Following "Hatred", they played Suppressing Times, during which Zellie requested energy from the Chicago crowd to make their performance memorable. The third track was “My Blood on Your Hands”, showcasing Zelli's vocal range from clean singing to intense screams. The band sounded well live, similar to their studio recordings. Zellie accurately performed each scream from the set list.
One notable moment from the show occurred when Zellie immersed himself into the crowd, continuing to sing each part flawlessly without missing a beat. This was quite surprising, and it appeared that the security personnel were significantly impressed by the performance.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the mosh pits occurring during every song. These energetic interactions served as indicators that the audience was fully engaged with the band's performance. From circle pits to intense “walls of death,” Paleface effectively created a memorable experience. The show was incredibly intense, and the atmosphere was palpable throughout the main floor. It seemed that no one in attendance was merely observing; instead, everyone actively participated by moving their heads or jumping whenever the band prompted them.

As the event drew to a close, I greatly appreciated that the band took the time to thank us for attending. More importantly, they expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to conduct this tour, which has become the most successful one they have ever undertaken. They specifically acknowledged Chicago for consistently being an outstanding city to conclude their tour. The band also extended a comprehensive appreciation to their entire team, highlighting their significant contribution to the tour's success and affirming that the team's efforts were instrumental.
This performance was particularly memorable for me. Although I became aware of Paleface a few years ago, various life responsibilities had always prevented me from seeing them live. I have observed their progression from a small band touring internationally to supporting well-known bands such as Counterparts and Motionless in White. They are now headlining their own tours and consistently selling out each show. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing them perform in even larger venues in the future.
