Hollyy headlining @ Park West

Hollyy & Friends take over Park West during mini snow storm - in hopes of melting ICE

Feb 2, 2026

First and foremost, many thanks to the Hollyy team for having me and letting me there to capture some moments from the show. Genuinely, what a cool and chill group of guys.

As the header states, they were joined by [three] other amazing artists/bands: Runner & Bobby, Sarah Krohn, and Julian Saunders - each with their own, killer sound.

We started off the night with the chill, folk-y vibe that is Julian Saunders. You grab your drink, rest your head in your hands and make slight conversation - speaking only about how much it makes you want to go and explore the world with nothing more than a good companion and a good playlist. Julian is what you would get if you mixed the best of artists like Mumford and Sons and The Lumineers. By the way, go check out his new song "Two Geese."

For the next opener, we had the lovely Sarah Krohn in her bright red jumpsuit. She, and her band, have got the looks, the moves, and the grooves. Sarah definitely flips the script on us and has a more upbeat sound - definitely more on the indie/alt/pop side of things, in all the right ways. Songs like "Hung Up" give me an early 2000s vibe, like something straight from Avril Lavigne. Sarah and her band definitely know how to get people up and be interactive.

We're down to the final opening act, Runner and Bobby. Again, we make a 90 degree turn and now fall more into the alternative sound. Runner and Bobby have a much more moody sound to them. It's a sound that makes you want to put on some headphones and reminisce about all the times had - good and bad... they're the person in your life who was a happy blur; they're the person who you met once in a bar who you now look for in every stranger.

Last but not least.. the boys.. Hollyy!! Finding Hollyy was really one of those lucky moments. As I do, I was doom-scrolling - only recently back from my California trip - trying to come across some cool music when, suddenly, they popped up on my feed with "Weight of This Heart." At that very moment, I knew I was a fan. They just have that sound that I absolutely adore - that R&B/Soul sound - like artists such as Bird and Byron & Goldford. The crowd(s), rightfully so, go absolutely crazy for Hollyy. With the kind of attitude, funk, and soul that they have, I can only imagine how far they'll go. Hollyy has a killer set and sound; with their level of cool, calm, charisma, and style, I have no doubts that this is only the beginning of a long journey for these guys. I can't wait to see what all they have - hopefully cheering them on along each step.

Lastly - and again - big shout-out to everyone who performed and everyone who showed out. This show was very anti a three letter acronym that has notoriously gone around infringing on not only American rights, but also making a fool out of general human rights. This movement is very near and dear to my heart as someone who constantly lives in fear due to being so far away from family. Still, fear shouldn't rule the heart. It's time to take a stand for those who can't or are unable to. Love over fear, always.
