Gods of Chaos takes over Halloween in Chicago for 9 hour performance
You read that right! A nine hour show, on Halloween night, that lasted from 6PM until 3AM. Dia de los Muertos is a fitting holiday.. the only spooky thing was how "muerto" I felt after that night, and that is considering that I couldn't make it for the whole show. Still, if you ask me, 5 1/2 hours (8PM - 1:30AM) is plenty.
Gods of Chaos consisted of 12 bands/artists - ranging from metal to hip-hop - giving it their all to mosh the night away - with some big names like Terror, Project Pat, Three 6 Mafia, and Pouya.
Halloween is all about "trick or treat," but all we got was "treat" and no "trick." This event really was closer to a festival than it was a concert. It was one of those few times that you were able to see this many artists without having to go from stage to stage.
If you're interested in the next Gods of Chaos, while it will be a different lineup, there will be a 'round 2' on Dec. 20, 2025.
