Big Time Rush In Real Life Chicago!

Big Time Rush In Real Life Chicago!

Big Time Rush, most renowned Nickelodeon TV show, announced their big In Real Life Worldwide Tour with special guests, Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman. They announced to perform EVERY song from EVERY episode so every big time fan can fully embrace it live! Lucky for me, they came to Credit 1 Union Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL and experienced what Chicago had in store! Their openers definitely brought the energy up and ready for the BIG performance!

Stephen Kramer Glickman was the first on stage with a killer cover of Billie Eilish "Bad Guy". Duh! He absolutely killed it with his amazing crew! While all his songs on the setlist were mostly covers, each one had a significance to Stephen himself and why they mean so much to him. He added his own pizzazz and glamourous dancing which made the performance more enjoyable. My personal favorite would have to be "Pink Pony Club", it definitely kept me dancing.

Doesn't seem like a "bad guy" huh?

Up next, the lovely Katelyn Tarver delivered an amazing opening act with her song "Hurt Like That". Katelyn Tarver was part of the BTR cast but branched out into song making with her solo project coming to light. With her charismatic attitude and friendly demeanor she brought the energy and emotional touch to the night. Her soft tone singing and emotional lyrics really made her performance one to remember.

As the lights came down for one last time the anticipation grew for the guys in Big Time Rush. The stage LED boards were turned on and appeared like a TV. Then all of a sudden, "Boom!" The intro started, and the crowd erupted in cheers. I have never experience such a loud roar of a crowd that overtook the actually song. Singing along, dancing along, you can tell the crowd was giving it their all for this show. Once the creative intro to the set ended, lights went out again. For what felt like forever the lights came back on one by one revealing each of the members of BTR with each getting louder and louder.

The energy the guys brought was unimaginable, from running around the stage set up, to each having their own solo singing session, to interacting with the crowd. They were not just here for just another night, they wanted Chicago to leave with memories they will never forget.

What stood out for me was the little moments that if you stopped singing and dancing along you would miss. Each of the boys from just waving at their adoring fans to even interacting with the cameras made each moment with them memorable for all.

Their stage presence was by far one of the best I ever experienced. Each interaction with props on stage, Carlos once jumped off a hidden trampoline to his spot for one of the intro songs. To them living up to the same performances in the TV show they are making sure they solidify themselves not just as TV stars but musicians and performers.

The passion they have not to just the music but to thier fans is unmatched. Speaking with some of the fans who had their VIP expeirence said the guys were friendly! Tthey were appreciative for them and most importanly grateful for the chance to be putting on shows like this one with high turnout.

I can say this tour was truly a sight to behold! As a fan since the days of it being just a TV show, seeing them thrive and in action puts a big time smile on my face. No matter how much time has past, they are still the same 4 guys I saw on TV. Each with their own charisma and personality that made the group so successful in the first place. I couldn't ask for such an opportunity! I highly recommend all Rushers and soon-to-be Rushers to experience this live for yourself! You gotta live life BIG TIME!
