Archers Bring more than a "Temporary High" to Chicago Reggie's Rock club.

Archers brought their "Temporary High Tour" to Chicago; Half way through a successful tour Archers was ready to bring the energy to Chicago on July 18th.
We began the Night with Dead Eyes,The Maryland based band started off the night with some ferocity. The main singer Zach Williams, has some of the Harshest Screams while being able to sing cleans so effortlessly. These are the type of vocals that set a night up for success. This was the first time hearing their music but honestly, they left a great impression. After their set, they took time to head to the merch table where I got the opportunity to speak to Zach for a while.

Up next, Of Virtue. All I could say of this band is WOW. Straight from the start they did not ever go below 100% effort. Each band member brought their A game for this set.

Rivals was next and they brought such a twist to the rock genre. With just a drummer and singer, their music reached a whole new level. Kalie, the lead singer, had a captivating voice that brought fire and angelic heights. She had a tonal range that had everyone sing along and head bang at every beat. With the talented works of the drummer, Josh, they have achieved a new alternative to heavy metal. They performed their new single, Medusa's Home, among other new and exciting music that is coming out. It speaks on a personal level with the singer to feel more connected with their fans. And they did not disappoint, I highly recommend anyone who is a fan of outspoken but perfectly executed band, who not only perform very well but one who is not afraid of speaking their truth. I know I can definitely relate.

Closing out the night was the reason we all came out… Archers.
I first heard of Archers when they toured with Asking Alexandria on the packed “All My Friends” tour in 2024. I absolutely loved their energy during that show — each member made their presence felt and heard. So it was only a matter of time before they’d be headlining their own tour.
Once I saw they had a stop at the famous Chicago Reggie’s Rock Club, I knew instantly I had to go give them another look. A tour as packed as this one was definitely a summer must-see. Archers’ “Temporary High” tour is riding the momentum of new music, making a statement, and reaching new highs — no pun intended.
Archers bring a refreshing sound that makes them stand out as a titan in a scene that’s crowded and competitive. From the way they engaged the crowd to literally jumping in and singing with us, this show had it all.
I really appreciated the moments when vocalist Nathanael Pulley stopped to share what a song meant to him or gave us a heart-to-heart about how grateful the whole band was to be headlining their own tour — a huge goal for so many artists.
It’s exciting to witness their growth in real time. Just from seeing them in October to now, you can tell how much work they’ve put into sharpening their craft. And I can confidently say, they’re running with it at full speed.
I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next. All I can say is, bring it. I’m here for it all.
